Rumah Amal Limpahan Kasih

Rumah Amal Limpahan Kasih (RALK) is a center for orphans, poor children, children of single mothers, and those who are eligible to receive zakat. RALK is determined to help bring new light to the lives of the less fortunate by working as much as possible on all their needs in all aspects, whether externally or spiritually. Apart from the 140 residents in their hostel, orphans, and children who came from poor families are also assisted by RALK. Up to this day, there are over 300 children registered with the shelter where they often participate in activities held by RALK.

Rumah Amal Limpahan Kasih started to operate in January 2007, on privately owned land with several old house buildings transformed into hostels and classrooms for the children. As a result of contributions from all parties, RALK was able to purchase several lots of land nearby as a perfect welfare and education complex.

The reason behind the establishment of Rumah Amal Limpahan Kasih was to provide shelters and hostels for orphans and the poor. Surplus necessities in the form of food, school clothes, stationery, and other equipment donated to the poor and needy are distributed without bureaucracy. RALK is also a place where single mothers and senior citizens could rely on where they aim to help them as much as possible. Lastly, they aim to register and adopt the orphans, the poor, and children facing social issues in their respective homes where they will participate in appropriate welfare and rehabilitation programs held by the center.

The Board of Trustees of RALK is working on improving the facilities, equipment, and infrastructure for the comfort of the residents, and at the same time make them feel at home.

RALK welcomes and accepts any form of assistance and donations for these children and the rest of their residents.
